About Us
Tammy has been involved with horses from day one. Her father was Stud Manager and Owner trainer of Racehorses while her mother was into the showing &
amp; dressage. So what other choice was a girl to have??
In good old South Australia, before moving to QLD 19 yrs ago, I began my riding career in the adrenalin pumping world of eventing. I had the most wonderful horses who never let me down. But the most wonderful memories that will stay with me forever, are those with my long time friend, Romancing The Stone, aka Stonie. Stonie was that mothers dream horse, well actually, he was my mother’s dream horse until I “stole” him from her. He was the most wonderful friend I could ever have asked for. We purchased Stonie as a yearling and from that he grew into the most handsome, loving horse. He was a brilliant
eventer always aiming to please. I strongly believe eventing was Stonie’s passion as well. He loved every minute of it as much as I did. He was surely my best friend.
But at the young age of 24, sadly, due to a horrible disease in his feet called Canker, Stonie is now resting under his favourite tree, alongside “his dam” in our bottom
paddock. His memories will live forever and will never ever be forgotten. Thank you Stonie.
AND THEN CAME.…..
River Range Carolina (Cara) purchased from Linda Shore’s River Range Warmblood Stud in Toowoomba as a 2yo. We had a bit of a slow start until we met who is now our current coach, Nicole Tough. Nicole has helped to bring out Cara’s winning performances. After
representing QLD at the 2008 Australian Dressage
Championships then taking me to the Nationals in Sydney in 2009, Cara has proved to me what a super horse she is and the opportunities she has given to me. Cara has since been sold to a wonderful home in Sydney where she will live her days as a schoolmaster.
